MEET GEORGIA S. NIXON
Seasoned Counsel And Aggressive Advocacy In Criminal Defense
Georgia Nixon is an ambitious criminal lawyer who fights for her clients in court on civil and criminal cases. She attended North Carolina State and earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and then completed her law degree at Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.
Prior to opening her own practice, Nixon Law Offices in 1995, Georgia prosecuted cases as an assistant district attorney for the state of North Carolina. She has spent her career handling a wide range of cases in numerous courtrooms ranging from the
simple to the complex.
Georgia's interest in the law started when she was young. As Greek immigrants, her parents faced many challenges after coming to the United States from Greece in the 1950s with the goal of starting their own business. Georgia was taught from a young age to have a strong work-ethic and to prioritize values, which has helped guide her in her career.
Georgia enjoys teaching continuing legal aid classes for other attorneys and has raised almost $200,000 for local charities for the High Point Bar Association for the last 14 years volunteering as a Teen Court Judge to help the youth of High Point and
served on a number of boards.
